Bathroom Furniture

Our bathroom furniture is made to carry particular basins, so most pieces are listed by the basin they suit. The range takes in ceramic pedestals and legs, metal washstands in chrome, gold, bronze or matt black, painted and walnut-coloured cabinets, and open shelves in antique oak or aged fir.

Washstand, cabinet or pedestal

A washstand keeps the floor in view and gives a shelf for towels. Thornham has metal washstands for its 80cm, 100cm and double basins and a stand for the 120cm. Debenham has washstands and wall-hung frames for 80, 100 and 120cm basins in chrome or matt black. Alde has brass washstands up to 140cm and steel washstands from 50cm, wall-hung or floor-standing.

A cabinet gives storage and hides the trap. Framsden vanity cabinets come in matt white, walnut colour, green or bordeaux, and Thornham wall-hung cabinets in matt white, matt black, walnut or green. A ceramic pedestal or pair of ceramic legs suits a period basin where the room should look as it would have done.

For contemporary rooms there are Orwell wall units, a mirrored cabinet and a wall-hung shelf; Gipping wall cabinets for its semi-recessed basins; and the Wingfield, Otley and Earl Soham units made for the Wingfield basin.

Furniture is sold separately from the basin, so check the basin size named on each listing. Check that the waste can pass the drawers. Then see basins and mirrors and lighting for the pieces that sit with it.
