Cretingham

Cretingham is a small set of sculpted ceramic basins: Cocktail, Flute and Hurricane. Each has its own profile, and each is made for a cloakroom or a dressing room where one piece should carry the room. They come in white, or in matt black with the inside of the bowl left white.

Choosing a Cretingham basin

The three differ in silhouette rather than function, so the choice is mostly about the room. A cloakroom with plain walls and a strong floor can take the most shaped piece. A dressing room with a lot of joinery may want something quieter. The matt black version with a white bowl reads as a solid object from across the room and shows the water clearly in use.

The basin can be set on a pedestal, a washstand, a cabinet or the wall, depending on the room and the rest of the furniture. Our joinery workshop can make a stand or cabinet to suit.

The collection also includes a decorative ceramic plate cover, offered in plain glazes and in patterns named Damask, Levante, Nature and Geometry.

Before you order

Ask us for the specification sheet for the basin you like, so the tap and waste can be chosen to suit its height and outlet. Taps are listed under taps and mixers, and wastes under fittings and wastes. For other sculptural basins, see the vessel and countertop basins.
