Trade accounts for builders, developers and designers

We open trade accounts for builders, developers, architects and interior designers who buy bathrooms for their clients. An account gives you trade pricing, a named contact here and the paperwork a project needs. Retail prices on the website include VAT; trade pricing is set out when your account is opened, and trade orders are supplied on our trade terms.

The range covers period and contemporary sanitaryware, brassware, furniture and accessories, with ceramics made in Italy. You can browse it by collection or by type.

One contact for each project

Each account has one person here who knows your projects. They take the schedule, check it against the drawings, place the orders, follow up anything outstanding and tell you when it will arrive. If something changes on site, you ring one number and speak to someone who already knows the job. The number is 01449 711782.

Schedules checked before ordering

Send us a schedule, a drawing or a list from your client’s designer and we check it before anything is ordered. We look for the omissions that hold up a second fix: a basin with no compatible waste, a wall-hung WC with no frame, a flush plate in the wrong finish, a shower valve that does not suit the water system. We return a priced schedule listing each item by collection, code, size, finish and quantity, ready to go into your own pricing.

For larger rooms or a whole house, our bathroom design service can survey and draw the rooms and produce the schedule for you, working from the architect’s plans where there are some.

Samples for clients and sample boards

Matt glazes and brassware finishes in chrome, gold and bronze are hard to judge from a photograph, so samples are worth having before a client signs off. Tell us which collections you are considering and we will send what is relevant for a client meeting or a sample board. Clients can also see pieces at the showroom at Mickfield, and we can arrange a visit for you and your client together.

Specification sheets and documentation

Specification sheets are available for the pieces we sell, with dimensions and technical details for your drawing set and for the plumber. Where a piece needs a concealed frame, a particular waste or a minimum water pressure, the sheet says so. We can send the sheets for a whole schedule in one go, so the design team and the trades work from the same information. Fitting instructions come with the goods.

Delivery to site

We deliver to sites across UK mainland, timed to your programme. Concealed frames and shower valves can be called off early for first fix, with ceramics, brassware and furniture following for second fix. That keeps finished pieces off site until there is somewhere safe to put them. Larger items travel on a pallet or by two-person delivery. We need the site contact, any booking slot and any access restrictions in advance, which matters on London sites with loading rules. The delivery page has the detail.

Made-to-measure joinery

Our joinery workshop at Mickfield makes vanity units, cabinets, panelling and other bathroom joinery to measure. On a trade project the furniture can be drawn and made to site dimensions, with the basin and waste positions agreed against the ceramics on the same schedule. It is ordered through the same account and handled by the same contact.

How to open a trade account

Send us your company name and registered address, your company number and VAT number if you have them, the name of the person who will place orders, and a short description of the work you do. Details of a current project help if you have one. Email hello@bathurstandco.co.uk, call 01449 711782 or use the contact page. We will confirm the account and its terms in writing.
