Stour has crisp, squared edges throughout. It covers vessel and semi-inset basins, close-coupled, back-to-wall and wall-hung WCs, bidets and a bath, sixteen pieces in all.

What is in the Stour collection

There are four 60cm basins: a vessel basin and a semi-inset basin, each with or without a tap ledge. The tap-ledge versions carry a deck-mounted mixer on the basin itself; the plain versions take a tap on the worktop or the wall.

WCs come in all three main fixings. The close-coupled toilet is sold complete or as pan and cistern separately. There are back-to-wall and wall-hung pans, back-to-wall and wall-hung bidets, and slim seats, soft-close or standard. The bath is 170 by 80cm, long enough for most adults to lie back.

The ceramics come in white, an easy-clean white and matt glazes including white, black, grey, burgundy, hazel, brown, iron and green. The wall-hung pan and bidet are also made in the Waveney finishes, Carrara White, Marquinia Black, Alpi Green, Siena Yellow and Sodalite Lapis Lazuli.

Choosing Stour

Stour suits a contemporary room with straight lines elsewhere: square tiles, flat-fronted joinery, a rectangular tray. Its range of fixings makes it useful across a house, with a close-coupled WC in a refitted cloakroom and wall-hung pieces in a new main bathroom, all in the same shape. The Orwell collection has taps and accessories that sit well with it.

Before you order

Decide early whether you want the tap on the basin’s ledge or on the wall, as it changes the plumbing. See close-coupled toilets and semi-recessed and inset basins.
