Debenham

Debenham draws on the bathrooms of the 1920s and 1930s. It is a compact suite of fourteen pieces, with basins from 80cm to 120cm, a freestanding basin, a vessel basin, a high-level WC and washstands in chrome or matt black.

What is in the Debenham collection

The 80cm, 100cm and 120cm basins are each offered with one or three tap holes. Each size has its own washstand and its own wall-hung frame, so the basin can stand on the floor or be carried on the wall with the floor clear beneath. The freestanding basin comes with a floor or wall outlet, and the vessel basin can sit on a washstand or a made top.

The WC is a high-level toilet, with the cistern, cistern fittings and flush pipe also listed separately, plus a separate pan, a matching bidet and a soft-close seat. Everything ceramic comes in white, matt white, glossy black, matt black, matt hazel or matt green.

Choosing Debenham

Debenham suits a house of the inter-war years, or any room where a plainer period look is wanted than Thornham or Framsden. The chrome and matt black frames read lighter than a cabinet, which helps in a smaller bathroom.

Before you order

A high-level cistern needs ceiling height, so measure before choosing it. A freestanding basin with a floor outlet needs the waste planned under the floor. See high- and low-level toilets for the WC.

WCs, basins and baths are covered by the sanitation and hot water rules in Approved Document G. Call 01449 711782 if you would like us to check a piece against your plans.
