Kettleburgh is our range of ceramic kitchen and utility sinks, made for a kitchen, pantry, scullery or boot room. There are three patterns, No.1, No.2 and No.3, and nine sinks in all, with widths from 600mm to 914mm.
Patterns and widths
No.1: 600mm and 758mm.
No.2: 608mm, 758mm, 838mm and 910mm.
No.3: 686mm, 758mm and 914mm.
Widths are in millimetres because base units are. The same 758mm width is offered in all three patterns, which helps where the cabinet size is fixed and the choice comes down to the shape of the sink.
Choosing a Kettleburgh sink
Start from the cabinet or opening, then compare the patterns. They differ in profile and bowl depth, so ask us for the specification sheets and set them against your worktop height. A utility or boot room often wants a deeper bowl for buckets and boots; a kitchen sink at a run of worktops is usually chosen to line up with the top.
Before you order
Ceramic sinks are heavy, and heavier full, so the base or supports must be built to carry them. Plan the tap as wall-mounted or set on the worktop behind. Basket strainer wastes, with or without an overflow, are listed under fittings and wastes. Our joinery workshop can build the base, and the sinks are also listed under kitchen and utility sinks. You can see them at the showroom.
WCs, basins and baths are covered by the sanitation and hot water rules in Approved Document G. Call 01449 711782 if you would like us to check a piece against your plans.
