Dove

Dove is a vessel basin collection with two pieces: the Dove square vessel basin and the Dove 70cm vessel basin. Both sit on top of a worktop, washstand or vanity unit, with the whole bowl on show.

Glazes

Both come in white and matt glazes including white, black, grey, burgundy, hazel, brown, iron and green. A coloured matt glaze on a pale stone or timber top makes the basin the focus of the room; matt white on a white top reads quietly.

Choosing a Dove basin

The square basin suits a cloakroom, an en suite or a dressing room, and it sits well among square tiles and flat-fronted joinery. The 70cm basin gives a generous bowl for a main bathroom and fills a longer vanity without looking lost on it.

Because a vessel basin adds its own height to the counter, the counter or washstand is usually set lower than for an inset basin. Work out the finished rim height before the furniture is drawn. Our joinery workshop can make the vanity or washstand to that height.

Taps and wastes

A vessel basin needs a tall mono mixer or a wall-mounted spout, because a standard mono mixer will not clear the rim. The Orwell high basin mono mixer and wall basin mixer are made for this, in matt white, matt black, chrome or nickel. Check on the specification sheet whether the basin has an overflow, and choose the waste to match.
