Wingfield

Wingfield is a basin and furniture pairing. The basin is made at 102cm and 122cm, in white, matt white or matt black, with one or three tap holes, and is sized to sit on its own vanity unit.

What is in the Wingfield collection

The two listings are the Wingfield basin and the Wingfield vanity unit, made at 102cm and 122cm to match and offered in white or black. The basin also sits on the Otley and Earl Soham units from our Otley collection: the Otley vanity unit with drawer, and the Earl Soham unit, the open option, in matt black stainless steel with stoneware, wall-hung or floor-standing.

Choosing a Wingfield arrangement

Start with width. The 102cm suits an en suite or a smaller main bathroom; the 122cm gives a long stretch of basin for a main bathroom where two people share the space at different times.

Then choose the furniture. The Wingfield vanity unit gives closed storage and a single block of colour. The Otley drawer unit gives storage with a different front. The Earl Soham frame keeps the floor in view and makes the room feel larger, but shows the waste, so plan a bottle trap in a finish that suits the black steel.

A matt black basin on a white unit, or white on black, gives contrast; matching colours read as one piece.

Before you order

Order the basin and unit at the same width. Decide one or three tap holes from the mixer you want. Taps and waste are not included; see taps and mixers and bathroom furniture.

WCs, basins and baths are covered by the sanitation and hot water rules in Approved Document G. Call 01449 711782 if you would like us to check a piece against your plans.
