Kersey

Kersey is a collection of baths in four plan shapes: oval, round, square and rectangular. Each is 55cm high, and the round and rectangular baths come in two sizes.

Sizes in the Kersey collection

Oval: 160 by 80cm.

Round: 120cm or 140cm across.

Square: 120 by 120cm.

Rectangular: 160 by 70cm or 180 by 80cm.

Choosing a shape

The rectangular bath is the one to lie down in, and the 180cm length suits a tall bather. The oval gives the same use in a softer outline and reads well in the middle of a room. Round and square baths are for a deep soak rather than a long one, and they need space on all sides to look right, so they suit a large principal bathroom.

Before you order

Check access through doors, stairs and landings, especially for the 140cm round and the 120cm square, which are wide in both directions. A filled bath is a heavy load, so have the floor checked. Confirm the waste position, and remember that in new dwellings Part G requires the hot water to a bath to be limited by a blending valve. Taps are not included; see taps and mixers.
