Orwell

Orwell is our most complete contemporary suite. It covers basins, wall-hung and back-to-wall WCs, bidets, a bath, taps, a shower, furniture, a mirrored cabinet and accessories, so a whole room can be specified from one family. There are thirty-three pieces.

What is in the Orwell collection

Basins come at 50cm, 60cm and 70cm, as a 60cm vessel and as a 40cm circular vessel, plus a freestanding basin in finishes named Carrara White, Marquinia Black, Alpi Green, Siena Yellow and Sodalite Lapis Lazuli. WCs are wall-hung or back-to-wall, each also made as a quiet-flush pan, with a bidet, a wall-hung bidet and slim seats, soft-close or standard. The bath is 145 by 78cm, compact enough for a smaller room.

The ceramics are offered in white, an easy-clean white and matt glazes including white, black, grey, burgundy, hazel, brown, iron and green. The taps, shower, trigger spray, towel rail and accessories come in matt white, matt black, chrome or nickel.

Furniture includes wall units in five widths from 60cm to 180cm, a mirrored cabinet in three sizes, metal furniture feet, a wall-hung shelf in antique oak or aged fir, and an LED light at 30cm or 60cm.

Choosing Orwell

Choose one glaze for the WC, bidet and basins and one metal finish for the brassware. Matt white taps on a matt white basin give a very quiet room; matt black or nickel gives more contrast.

Before you order

Wall-hung pans need a concealed frame, and the bath and shower need a check on water pressure. Our design service covers both. See wall-hung toilets and Stour.

WCs, basins and baths are covered by the sanitation and hot water rules in Approved Document G. Call 01449 711782 if you would like us to check a piece against your plans.
