Our period collections cover bathrooms from the early twentieth century to the 1930s. Three are full suites: Framsden, Thornham and Debenham. Four are smaller: Cretingham’s three sculpted basins, Kersey baths in four plan shapes, Kettleburgh ceramic sinks, and Otley furniture.

Choosing a period suite

Framsden is the most complete, with softly rounded basins, ceramic pedestals and legs, high- and low-level cisterns, ceramic shower trays and a roll-top bath. Thornham has grand-hotel proportions, with basins up to a 150cm double, metal washstands and a full set of accessories. Debenham follows the 1920s and 1930s, with basins from 80cm to 120cm and a freestanding basin.

The ceramics come in white, gloss black and matt glazes including black, hazel and green, and the brassware in chrome, gold or bronze. Choose one metal finish and carry it through.

Before you order

Period WCs need ceiling height for a high-level cistern and room for an extended pan. Our design service checks these on the drawing.
