Description
The 60mm Ceramic Shower Tray, Rectangular sits in our shower trays range.
The 60mm Shower trays is one of the fittings we keep in our catalogue so that a bathroom can be completed with parts that are known to work together.
A ceramic tray is heavier and more rigid than a resin one; the waste is listed separately.

Fitting the 60mm Ceramic Shower Tray, Rectangular
A ceramic shower tray must sit on a firm, level base with full support underneath, and the waste needs to be reachable for cleaning the trap. Seal the joint between tray and wall with a flexible sanitary silicone once the walls are finished. Plan the waste route before the floor is laid, as trays have only a shallow fall to the outlet. Building work in a bathroom falls under the Building Regulations, and Approved Document G covers sanitary fittings and hot water safety.
Looking after it
Glazed ceramic needs only warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth. Matt glazes show marks more than gloss, so wipe them regularly; avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders and strong acid descalers. Our care guide covers each finish in more detail.
Lead time and delivery
Lead time is 5-6 weeks from order; it carries a 10 year warranty. It travels on a pallet; delivery to mainland England and Wales is £65, and free when your order comes to £1,000 or more. See delivery for Scotland and the islands.
Before you buy, read our guide to planning a period bathroom and our price promise, or call 01449 711782 to talk it through.
